The ground floor has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with 2 single beds and one with 2 double bunker beds plus 2 bathrooms and living room, and small laundryroom. Steps lead to first floor with main bedroom, en-suite bathroom, open plan kitchen, dining room and fireplace. Full sea view from first floor. Huge balcony with 270° view with braaiplace and Weber. Dishwashing machine and safe parking with unit.
Luxury accommodation is available for a maximum of 10 people and comfortably furnished for an enjoyable weekend or holiday. Entrance to the Village is controlled, and is there 24-hour security in the Village.
Mossel Bay – It’s always a perfect day in Mossel Bay with splendid beaches, sunshine, the blue Indian Ocean, the Outeniqua Mountains hazy in the distance, not even mentioning our perfect weather – you really ought to be here today. Mossel Bay is a gentle South African seaside town on the Garden Route of the Western Cape. This is the place where you’ll really relax.
How to get there – From Cape Town follow Marsh Road (the main Road) to the very end or Point. We are situated in the Point Village at 6 Wallace Street. From George follow George Road which changes into Bland Street, to the very end. Keys to be collected at 1 Point Village Guesthouse on the left, opposite the school playground and caravan park.
What to do – Enjoy breakfast, lunch, supper or sundowners at the nearby beachfront restaurants, Delphino’s(70m), Kingfisher Seafood Restaurant(70m), Italian Bakery(70m) Ponchos(250m) or Big Blu Tapas Bar(250m), Point Hotel(300m), or any of the other 12 restaurants within walking distance which offers variety of cuisine including seafood, sushi, steaks, pizza etc.
We are ideally located for dolphin, shark and whale watching or for diving at the Point. Day trips can be organised to visit the Cango Caves, Game farms and Ostrich farms in Oudtshoorn, the Swartberg Mountain Pass, Prince Albert, Meiringspoort or Knysna, famous for its oysters, the Knysna Loerie, the Feather Bed Nature Reserve and Knysna’s waterfront, Monkeyland and the Knysna elephants.
There are 12 Golf Courses within a 50 km radius of The Point Village, and 2 within 10km from the Village. Amongst them the world renowned Fancourt & Lynx courses. Mossel Bay is well known for its moderate climate which offers hot summers and mild winters for an ideal summer or winter retreat to visit the beach.
In Mossel Bay visit the Post Office Tree, Shell Museum, Maritime Museum, and Culture Museum, Model Shipyard, Mossel Bay Harbour and other attractions, which includes Casino, beaches, boat cruises, fishing, scuba diving, sky diving, surfing, Bungi jumping, Game Viewing, Curio Shops and many more.
